WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) is among 15 Senators who this week recommended the inclusion of Charlie Kirk, the fallen founder of Turning Point USA, in the National Garden of American Heroes.

The lawmakers, led by U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-La.), issued their recommendation in a letter to President Trump, citing Kirk’s historic contributions to the nation and American democracy.
