U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith visits Northeast Mississippi Community College

U.S. Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith visited Northeast Mississippi Community College on Tuesday, meeting with college officials and touring campus facilities.
During the visit, Hyde-Smith discussed the future of the college’s aerospace program with President Ford and other leaders. She also toured workforce labs to observe hands-on learning in action.
College officials highlighted efforts to prepare students for high-demand careers and promote workforce innovation across Mississippi, according to a news release. The visit aimed to showcase Northeast’s role in driving economic development in the region.
