HYDE-SMITH PRAISES TRUMP SANCTIONS ON IRANIAN REGIME
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) today issued the following statement regarding President Trump’s executive order imposing additional sanctions to punish Iran for recent acts against United States interests:
“President Trump is right to increase pressure on the Iranian regime. Iran is ruled by leaders who are tyrants and sponsors of terrorist groups that threaten the safety and interest of the United States and our allies. The additional sanctions should leave little doubt in the minds of the Iranian regime that the Trump administration will not stand for its acts of aggression against us.”
