HYDE-SMITH ISSUES HOLIDAY MESSAGE FOR U.S. SERVICEMEMBERS OVERSEAS, CITES MISSISSIPPI’S 155TH BRIGADE COMBAT TEAM
 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In conjunction with the U.S. National Guard’s 382nd birthday celebration, U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith today released a holiday message for all U.S. military servicemembers and their families, offering special thanks to the Mississippi Army National Guard’s 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team deployed overseas.
 
Hyde-Smith recorded the message for use by the Armed Forces Network.  The 155th ABCT was deployed to the Middle East in June and is expected to return home in 2019.
 
“I just love the 155th, and I’m so grateful and proud of their service,” Hyde-Smith said.  “My thoughts are with them and their families as we get closer to the Christmas holiday.”
