WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) today announced her support for two pro-business bills, including an effort to restore workers’ rights by prohibiting employers from requiring employees to join a union as a condition of employment.

The Senate has voted to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court following a bizarre battle between the parties in the wake of sexual assault allegations made against the nominee.

After weeks of investigation and questioning following uncorroborated allegations of sexual misconduct, Judge Brett Kavanaugh has been confirmed by the US Senate to be the next US Supreme Court Justice.

Kavanaugh was confirmed by a vote of 50-48.
